CARBON-FIBER TOE: Light, Durable, and Safe

Our boots feature a left and right asymmetrical, non-metallic carbon-fiber (composite) toe. This design offers an unobtrusive fit and is 15% lighter than steel. These boots meet or exceed ASTM F2412 and F2413 M I/75, C/75 EH standards, ensuring your safety on the job.

WATERPROOF: Stay Dry and Comfortable

With KEEN.DRY, a waterproof, breathable membrane liner, your feet stay dry and comfortable. The liner lets vapor out without letting water in. The Independence 8” Composite Toe work boots also have a mesh liner that integrates with this waterproof membrane, providing added comfort.

TRACTION: Staying Secure on Slippery Surfaces

Our boots feature an oil- and slip-resistant outsole that is both lighter and more durable than rubber. A 90° heel (5/8") provides stability and helps "catch or lock" the foot in place. These features meet or exceed ASTM F1677 Mark II and ASTM F2913 standards, ensuring you stay secure and confident on the job.

SUPPORT & COMFORT: Breathable and Lightweight

These boots are equipped with KEEN Luftcell air-infused, PU midsoles for weightless comfort. A nylon shank is used for midfoot support and superior torsion stability. Moisture-wicking textiles are included to help keep your feet dry, ensuring all-day comfort and support.
